This site and the work done through it are private by default.

Messages and submitted writing

Messages and 250 Words submissions sent through the website are transmitted securely to the project backend and stored in a private Cloudflare D1 database. Contact details are used only to acknowledge the submission, reply, and carry out work you have requested. They are not sold, rented or added to a marketing list. A copy of the submission may also be sent to Mark by transactional email through Resend.

For security and abuse prevention, each website submission also records the submission time, IP address and browser user-agent. The raw IP address and user-agent are automatically cleared from the submission database after 90 days; the submission record itself may be retained as described on this page.

The Purim prayer journey

The “Your prayer will make aliyah with me” form sends the prayer directly through the website backend. It is stored privately so Mark can print, fold, seal and carry it to Israel. It will not be published or shared. Prayer submissions are not used for analytics, advertising, training, publication or solicitation and may be deleted after the journey; you may ask Mark to delete yours sooner.

Voice recordings and other project material

Voice recordings submitted through “Don’t Write It. Tell It.” are stored in a private Cloudflare R2 bucket, not in a public folder. The site records the permission choices made with each recording. Recordings, photographs, documents and interview material are confidential. Nothing is published, quoted or shown to anyone without your written permission. You may ask for submitted material to be corrected or deleted.
