Pricing rule: projects of 3,000 words and above are priced at 21¢ USD per finished word. The Legacy Interview carries a $350 USD minimum commission because the preparation, conversation, writing and revision still have to be done properly.

What counts as a revision?
One revision means one complete set of requested changes submitted together after you receive the draft. You may correct facts, clarify a memory, change emphasis, remove something you do not want included, or tell me that a passage does not sound like you.
Corrections of my mistakes are always free and never use up your revision. A new chapter, new interview subject, substantially new material or a change to the agreed story is additional scope, and I tell you the exact cost before doing it.
Family stories use the same prices
You are choosing the size of the finished story, not buying a different rate because the subject is a family. A 3,000-word story about your grandparents is One Chapter. A 15,000-word account across generations is My Life Story-sized work. The same fixed prices apply.
Already wrote it yourself?
That is a different service. Use Golden Gloves — Edit My Story for proofreading, line editing, deep memoir editing, manuscript assessment and rescue work. Editing prices are based on the manuscript you already have and are kept separate from new-story writing.
Synagogues, societies and federations
Institutional work is quoted separately, because the shape is different: multiple narrators, an archive that may or may not be catalogued, and a board that needs to see a number before it can vote. Tell me roughly how many people and what records exist and I will send a fixed figure for the whole project, not a rate per hour.
